the issue of delayed settlement between Timon and WeMakePrice’s parent company has spread to ‘TmakePrice,’ resulting in sellers not being able to receive settlement. When Timon and WeMakePrice notified sellers of an ‘indefinite delay in payment,’ they canceled a large number of items for sale, which caused damages to buyers as well.
On the 25th, Timon’s CEO promised to minimize damage to consumers, saying, “We will do our best to resolve the settlement delay,” but on the 27th, he said, “We are embarrassed, but we are in a difficult situation right now because we do not have the money,” and only refunded about 900 million won. Consumers are becoming increasingly concerned about whether or not they will be able to get a refund.
