A brutal fight between suitcase packers at El Prat airport ends with one injured and four arrested

The Mossos d’Esquadra arrested four people on Saturday at the El Prat airport in Barcelona for participating in a massive fight between packers of suitcases without a license, which also ended with one person injured.

As sources from the Mossos d’Esquadra informed EFE this Sunday, the incident occurred around 6:00 p.m. this Saturday in the departure area of ‚Äč‚Äčterminal 1, when several suitcase packers who were fighting for this area to obtain an economic benefit They got into a violent fight.

As you can see in the main video that accompanies this news, the packers raced through the terminal and they hit each other with the same sticks transparent plastic cutlery that they use to pack suitcases. As a result of this fight, the Mossos arrested four people accused of rioting, while another was injured and was initially treated on site by some travelers who were at the airport at that time.

Currently, the El Prat airport does not have any official packaging service of suitcases. This service was suspended with the coronavirus pandemic and, subsequently, no company has taken charge of it, waiting for AENA to award this activity. Given this void, various young people offer this activity without a license to passengers.
