Singer-songwriter Ahn Ye-eun continues the special atmosphere of listening to the music with her new song ‘Scissors’.
Ahn Ye-eun will release the digital single ‘Scissors’ through various music sites at 6 PM on the 28th.
‘Scissors’ is a waltz song based on ‘dreams’ and ‘scissors’, which are essential themes when talking about ‘ghost stories’. Ahn Ye-eun participated in composing, writing lyrics, and arranging the song herself, demonstrating her musical ability. Unlike the previous series of songs that were sorrowful yet refreshing, it focuses on primal fear.
‘Scissors’, which begins with Ahn Ye-eun’s eerie narration, visualizes music. A scene of giving one’s body to a ghost and dancing creepily naturally comes to mind with her unique imagination. In particular, the colorful lyrics such as ‘Yesterday was light pink / Tomorrow is dark green / A colorful jacket mixed with five colors’ foreshadow the essence of Ahn Ye-eun’s horror song.
With the goal of creating a summer horror song that can be enjoyed by the ears, Ahn Ye-eun has been releasing horror songs every summer since 2020. Ahn Ye-eun has released “Neungsohwa,” “Changgwi,” “Rat” (RATvolution), and “Hongryeon,” which contain unique storytelling, in succession.
