BAC held the largest SME market of the year on the first weekend of December

Last weekend, for the second consecutive year, the SME market was held under the name “Market of Illusions”. in the National Park in the center of the capital.

At the Market of Illusions 100 local SMEs of various products participated such as food, textiles, jewelry, personal care items, cosmetics, pet products, among others.

On December 1, 2 and 3, Costa Ricans enjoyed the lighting of the treeSanta’s house, parade, story-telling, pet parade, Christmas carols, a concert with tenor Joaquín Yglesias and the Philharmonic Orchestra.

This is the second time that the BAC holds a large Christmas market. The previous year, more than 100 SMEs gathered at the Convention Center to exhibit their products.

In 2023, a total of 22 markets have been held, in which just over 200 SMEs participated.. During this period, these companies have generated income of more than $74,000 (about ₡39 million).

Among the benefits that BAC SME clients who participate in these fairs have are: free space during the activity, special membership conditions, loan of a dataphone during the event and use of the KASH application to carry out transactions with their clients.
