Chihuahua: Sedena sends 2,100 soldiers to reinforce security in Ciudad Juárez

Given the increase in violence in Ciudad Juárez at the start of the year, the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) sent 2,100 military personnel this weekend to reinforce local law enforcement and reduce the number of homicides.

In January, 124 homicides were recorded, while in the first nine days of February there were 36 in the city. With the arrival of the soldiers, there are already 3,500 soldiers working in the region to support the local police.
