“Inclusive Language”, which is made up of posters made by students of the Synthesis Workshop III and which will be valid for the Potosí society in the Museum’s Art Gallery
The Faculty of Habitat of the UASLP, held the inauguration of the exhibition “Inclusive Language”, which is made up of posters made by students of the Synthesis Workshop III and which will be valid for the Potosí society in the Art Gallery of the Museum , throughout December 2023 until January 9, 2024.
The opening ceremony was attended by teacher Rosa Ma. Reyes Moreno, director of the Faculty of Habitat; Dr. Urenda Queletzú Navarro, head of the University Rights Ombudsman and Professor Octavio Alonso, professor of the Faculty of Habitat.
Regarding this exhibition, teacher Rosa Ma. Reyes Moreno pointed out that this exercise was born at the initiative of the University Rights Ombudsman, “we have to enter into this process of being inclusive and we have to start with language. And thanks to the Ombudsman’s Office that motivated us to put this topic in our synthesis workshops.”
For her part, Dr. Urenda Navarro thanked the Faculty of Habitat for this creative process that was carried out for a month, “to be able to transmit the message from the university to society to reflect on the necessary inclusion and that they could be reflected all those ideas on these posters.”
It is worth mentioning that this exhibition is the result of an inclusive education exercise, at the initiative of the Ombudsman of University Rights and that obviously includes inclusive language and consists of 84 posters of male and female students, advised by ten teachers from the Synthesis Workshop III and whose mission is to make visible to all people.
