JEMBER, BANGSAONLINE.com – Protesters who are members of the Indonesian Islamic Student Movement (PMII) held another demonstration, Tuesday (19/9/2023). This time, they urged the Jember DPRD to fulfill their demands regarding the revision of the RTRW Regional Regulation.

“This is a follow-up action that we are carrying out, because the DPRD has promised to accept our demands this week, so we have come to collect them,” said Bayu Wicaksono as the action coordinator.

Regarding the points that became the focus of the mass action, they included refusing permits for mining exploitation, and refusing to convert productive agricultural land into strategic areas.
