“I don’t know if I’m happy” Dex, Oh Jung-yeon, Park Seo-jin, ★s who confess to burnout and overcome it

As the number of stars confessing to having suffered from burnout is increasing, attention is being focused on their sincere confessions.

In a video titled “Physical management is an excuse” on the TteunTteun YouTube channel on the morning of the 3rd, Dex confessed, “I experienced a burnout last year. It’s a bit absurd, but I got burned out so quickly. When I talked about this, a lot of people said, ‘How could you get burned out when you did so much? ‘”

He explained, “I think it happened because I experienced things I’ve never experienced in my life all at once in a short period of time. However, maybe because I experienced it once last year, I’m doing well with it this year. Rather than calling it a burnout, this year has been fun.”

On the 23rd of last month, Dex also confessed through his YouTube channel, “It seems like I don’t have a personal life. It’s just work-home-work-home.” He continued, “Home is supposed to be a place to recover after working hard at work, right? But when I come home, all I can do is sigh.”

Announcer-turned-broadcaster Oh Jung-yeon also revealed that she suffered from burnout.

On the 21st episode of “Dakkaba” on the 24th of last month, Oh Jung-yeon appeared as a guest and said, “I thought I would be satisfied if I made this my job. But then, all quits are the same. My body gave me a signal. My throat was close to asthma. They said it was suspected asthma, so my throat wouldn’t come out,” and confessed to quitting her job as an announcer.

He confessed about the reason why he suddenly started riding a motorcycle that he had never done before, saying, “I had a long burnout and it was a bit hard. I also worked part-time at a cafe.”

After working part-time for a long time, he opened a cafe and became the CEO, and he naturally overcame burnout.

Trot singer Park Seo-jin appeared on KBS 2TV’s ‘Men Who Live’ (Salimnam) aired on the 20th of last month and confessed to burnout symptoms.

On the show at the time, he said, “I felt a little uneasy thinking, ‘What have I been doing all this time? What am I doing?’ I thought it would be nice to get some fresh air and breeze in the clean mountains, so I came here,” revealing that he had suffered from burnout symptoms and went on a temple stay.

He confessed, “At first, I was happy because I had achieved my dream. I was happy because I received applause from the public and sang the songs I wanted to sing, but as I did it, I didn’t know if I was truly happy.” The monk advised that success is not everything and that you should continue to work hard to find happiness through various experiences.

Each star experiences burnout in different ways, so they can’t all overcome it in the same way. However, since they all overcome burnout in their own ways, their future is even more anticipated.
