Jon Rahm signs the largest contract in the history of sports with LIV: 500 million

It seems that the step you have taken Jon Rahm can tip the balance of the negotiations between the PGA Tourhe DP World Tour and the Saudi Investment Fund (PIF), owner of LIV, that before the end of the year they must reach an agreement to bring peace to the world of golf.

The current number three in the world ranking, who had always turned a deaf ear to Saudi Arabia’s money, seems to have accepted an offer of 500 million euros of the LIV.

The league, created in 2022 and driven by ‘petrodollars’, already had other renowned golfers such as the Spaniard Sergio Garcia.

To put in context, that half a billion euros that the Basque will pocket by signing for LIV is equivalent to everything that the PGA Tour has distributed in 2023.
