Although Sunderland announced the departure of manager Tony Mowbray on Monday, None of that brought changes for Costa Rican Jewison Bennette.
The Tico was not even called up for this Saturday’s game against Albion, where they won 2-1.
The match was directed by the internal coach Mike Dodds, and Bennette wasn’t even on the bench.
The Costa Rican midfielder, 19 years old, alone adds 9 minutes in a game played last September 2.
This is Bennette’s second season in England’s second division side.
With this victory, Sunderland rises to sixth place with 30 points in 20 games.
The English team has yet to decide whether to keep Dodds or hire a new coach.
