Palenque of the San Marcos Fair 2024: dates, billboard and tickets in Aguascalientes

The Palenque of the San Marcos Fair is preparing to receive more than 20 guest artists. Julión Álvarez, Carin León, Gloria Trevi and Christian Nodal, among others, join the line-up of the most important fair in Mexico, which takes place once a year in Aguascalientes. The hydro-warm capital expects an attendance of more than 10 million people for the 2024 edition. The traditional San Marcos Fair exhibits the popular culture of the Mexican shoal: concerts, livestock exhibitions, charrerías and bullfights. The origins of the traditional San Marcos Fair date back to 1828, when it was first celebrated as an agricultural event in honor of San Marcos Evangelista, patron saint of the city. Since then, it has been celebrated annually in the spring months. It has only been interrupted twice: during the covid-19 and H1N1 influenza pandemics in 2009.

The San Marcos Fair begins next Friday, April 12, and ends on Sunday, May 5, 2024. The first guest to appear is Julión Álvarez, followed by Alfredo Olivas and Carin León. How much do the tickets cost? These are the prices and areas for this year

The cost of tickets varies depending on the artist performing and the section: stands, silver, gold and VIP. Prices range between 5,000 and 400 Mexican pesos, the cheapest. The most expensive presentation is that of Alejandro Fernández and his son, Alex, whose ticket in the stands is 1,000 pesos, 2,500 in the silver section, 3,500 in gold and 5,000 pesos in VIP. Meanwhile, the Bronco concert is the cheapest with a cost of 400 to 2,000 Mexican pesos.

Ticket sales began this Monday, February 12 at the Palenque box office in Aguascalientes – from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – and on the Ticket Now page. The entrance to the San Marcos Fair does not include the presentations at the Palenque.
