Presentation by Banda de Zarcero listed as the best in the history of BandFest

The Zarcero Municipal Band show at the BandFest was called the best in history, according to the Tournament of Roses organization in Pasadena, California.

Furthermore, the general director of the band, Elesban Rodríguez, won the Michael D. Sevell award, general director of the Band, which makes him the first non-American director to win the award.

“The award is presented each year at the Band Director’s Recognition Breakfast and is awarded to a Rose Parade participating band that exhibits excellence in service both on and off the field.

The Foundation grants a plaque designed with a special marching formation of the Central and Northern Pickerington Bands detailed by Sewell, unique business pins for the winning band and staff, and a prize of $500,” details the website.

Furthermore, the national group was formally invited to perform in HawaiiUSA.

The Zarcer National Bandor is made up of more than 300 members.
