As the conflict between entertainment agency Hive and Adore CEO Min Hee-jin intensifies, even New Jeans and fandom are drawing attention by 

publicly supporting CEO Min. On the 1st, CEO Min revealed a handwritten letter he received from Daniel on his personal account. Daniel personally sent a letter of thanks and support to Min Hee-jin, who has been in a public conflict with her parent company Hive for months, on the 2nd anniversary of her debut.

In the letter, Daniel said, “It’s already been 2 years. Our CEO who worked the hardest! I’m really, really grateful. There were so many things that happened in the short but long 2 years, and it feels like everything that will happen in the next 7 years has already happened. Is this a curse?” and expressed his gratitude to CEO Min. 

Daniel called CEO Min his ‘mother’ and said, “I feel strong and grateful that I have such an adult-like person by my side, such a wonderful person. I’m sure you go through so many hardships every day that I don’t even know about, but when you only show us your loving side, it really hurts and touches my heart.”

Earlier, a media outlet revealed a messenger conversation in which Representative Min seemed to disparage the members of New Jeans, which led some to question the term “New Jeans Mom” ​​used to refer to Min Hee Jin. However, through the letter that day, we were able to guess the close relationship between Representative Min and the members of New Jeans even amidst the conflict within HYBE. 

Daniel also said, “I will always run to you whenever you need me. No matter what path you choose, I want to be with you. Even if I can’t be of much help, I want to be by your side when you’re having a hard time,” and confessed, “I pray for you, cheer you on, love you, and love you again every day.” 

Recently, it has been revealed that CEO Min participated in the 20th anniversary album of S.E.S., with whom she had a relationship while working at SM Entertainment. In response, Bada posted a selfie with CEO Min and member Eugene and wrote, “It’s like an ESM girl group, right? Fighting Min Hee-jin! Our 20th anniversary director.”

This is not the first time that Bada has publicly supported CEO Min. In May, she posted a screenshot of the music video for New Jeans’ “Bubble Gum” and said, “Amidst the complicated stories of adults, it must have been hard for these young kids to prepare for an idol album, which would have been difficult even if they had just prepared it,” and tried to understand the feelings of the members who must have been going through a difficult time due to the conflict between Hive and CEO Min. 

Eugene also supported the group, saying, “As a fan, I’m so happy that Min Hee-jin and New Jeans won’t be parting ways! New Jeans, who will continue their great activities in the future! I support and love you.” The 

Bernies (fandom name) also came forward to protect CEO Min and New Jeans. The New Jeans fandom is currently protesting by sending wreaths in front of the Hive headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The wreaths contain phrases such as, “Hive’s multi-label is over,” “The truth is, Hive is number one in tow trucks,” “Where did Hive sell its conscience?”, “PR trying to kill a subsidiary and legal action neglecting artists,” and “Stop Hive’s attempt to kill New Jeans!” The wreaths, 

which line the front of the Hive headquarters, will be up until the 2nd, and fans have been voicing their dissatisfaction with Hive through the wreaths. 

Meanwhile, CEO Min has been in public conflict with his parent company, Hive, since April. Initially, Hive began investigating, saying they had caught evidence of CEO Min’s attempted seizure of management rights, but CEO Min denied this and held two emergency press conferences. CEO Min is still in his position.

Recently, a media outlet revealed KakaoTalk messages containing conversations between CEO Min and a shaman and the content of covering up a female employee’s sexual harassment at work, causing a stir. However, CEO Min revealed the original KakaoTalk messages through his Instagram story the previous morning, saying, “I had a very difficult time and was deeply troubled by the private KakaoTalk conversations that were recently partially edited and revealed by a certain media outlet.” He

also said, “As you can see from the conversation, we have all reconciled and believe that this has come to an end. I hope that you will not make rash assumptions and make accusations about things you don’t know much about, which will not lead to further harm.”
