Rains and wind cause heavy flooding in Holbox

Restaurants on the beach, hotels, light posts and streets on the island of Holbox, in Quintana Roo, have been affected by the rains and wind caused by cold front number 32 in southern Mexico. The tourist center has suffered flooding due to the large amount of water that fell into the lagoon that separates the island from the Yucatan peninsula. Despite the images coming from the island, so far no fatalities or injuries have been reported.
