(VIDEOS) This is the name of the “space junk” that was seen this morning

Early this Monday, in different sectors of the country, some lights in the sky that were recorded in different videos.

There has been talk about whether the phenomenon was a meteorite, but in reality it is space junk and it even has a name.

The lights that were observed are called “53358”, this being its NORAD number.

What is this numbering? It is called the Satellite Catalog Number and is a 5-digit sequential number assigned by the United States Space Command.

On August 4, 2022, a rocket was launched in China, specifically at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, of which The materials that were observed this Monday in luminous form come from.

Also, The maximum distance at which this object was found in its trip around the Earth was 592 kilometers.

Some places in Costa Rica where it was seen were San José, Puntarenas and Limón between 1:45 am and 2:00 am
